What can i say besides WOW! This last week has been insane with organic growth. I have become somewhat of a worker at a job and lost a little bit of momentum as a business owner. I have been so busy and got caught up cleaning windows vs promoting and growing the window cleaning business. I have been able to greatly increase my window washing speed and productivity using a Moerman Accelerator handle for pole fanning tall dirty commercial window cleanings. I struggled with the best tool to detail the top window frame upon window washing completion. I found several rubber points online that were made to go into the Unger Tip on my XERO brand traditional pole. These little pole tips work pretty nice, and are fast enough to get out while on the job. I have struggled moving and setting the ladder several time while I’m out cleaning windows on my Weatherford route, but let me tell you, pole fanning has saved me anywhere from 25-50% time on the ladder intensive window cleanings.
I went out and knocked some businesses last week growing the window cleaning business, but I was met with at least 30 solid ‘Nos.’ The next day I stayed strong and got 2 new clients, Skinny’s Hamburgers, and Westside Laundry mat. I followed back up on a daycare I cleaned the windows on a few months back, and although it had not yet been sold, Miss Amanda said she would be contacting me soon to clean her other locations. I may have previously blogged that I was able to get a story coming up in the Parker County Today monthly publication, and I followed up on that this week as well. Its going to be published in the “Home Pros” episode, and I also was able to land the head editors house this upcoming week! All in all, when it seems like its kind of not going your way, keep your head up, tomorrow might be the day you were waiting for!
